User experience (UX) designer job description
Must have an expert understanding of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and wireframing tools such as Axure RP and Balsamiq.
Must have an expert understanding of graphic design and web technologies.
A degree in website design and a work history including web development may be required.
Typical duties of a user experience (UX) designer
- Creating satisfying experiences for users of a product, often drawing on results from user research and workflow analysis
- Working closely with creative and technology groups to guide and document the architecture, flow and user experience of digital solutions across multiple channels
- Producing usage scenarios, site maps, taxonomies and wireframes
