Time Reports and Pay
Q: Where do I report my time online?
From a mobile device: If you're a contract professional or a full-time engagement professional in the U.S. or Canada, you can now enter and submit your time on your mobile device with the Robert Half app. Tap Sign In in the top-right of the Home screen. Once signed in, you should see the time entry card in the "Time Reports" section. For more information about submitting your time, see the FAQs for Time Reports and Pay.
From a desktop computer: If you're logged in to your account, you can access the time reporting system by clicking Time Reports in the top-right of your Dashboard. You can also access the time reporting system if you're not logged in from roberthalf.com by clicking Time in the top right, then signing in.
Q: What operating system do I need on my phone to submit time reports in the Robert Half app?
For iPhones and iPads, the Robert Half app requires iOS version 14 or higher. For Android devices, the app requires Android OS version 7 or higher.
Q: I never received my login information. Who should I contact?
First, check your email. You should have received an auto-generated email from [email protected] with your login credentials. If you did not receive the email, please contact Customer Experience Center to request new login credentials: [email protected] or 1.888.744.9202.
Q: How do I save my time after I've entered my hours in the Robert Half mobile app?
There's no need to save your time reports. The app conveniently autosaves your progress. After you've started entering time, your time report is saved as a Draft. You can close the app and return to it later to continue entering time and submit it once you've entered all hours worked for the time period.
Q: How do I view past time reports?
You can access your time reports from the previous 12 months.
From a mobile device: Sign in and tap the Clock icon in the top-right corner of the Home screen.
From a desktop computer: Sign in to your account, click Time in the top-right of the screen then click Time Report History.
Q: How do I record more than 3 sets of “In and Out” times for a single day on my Time Report?
Complete a Manual Time Report using the applicable link below. Do NOT record any time in the Online Time Report.

Q: What is the payroll process?
Hours should be submitted for approval each Friday. Payroll is processed Monday through Friday for time report submitted each day. With direct deposit, funds are usually available within 24-48 hours from when the payroll is issued. If you do not have direct deposit, a live check will be mailed on the day the payroll issues. Please allow five business days for postal delivery of a mailed check.

Q: What is DocuSign? Is it secure?
Robert Half uses DocuSign an electronic signature system that allows you to sign many of the required intake documents. DocuSign is a cloud-based service provider that offers a fast, easy and secure way to electronically sign documents. While you are always welcome to sign all documents at our office, the electronic signature process also affords you the time to read through the documents at your leisure.
Q: I forgot my user ID and/or password. How do I access online training?
If you forgot your user ID or password, go to the login page (If you are a full-time engagement professional, use this login page), click Forgot your user ID? or Forgot your password? and follow the steps. Q: How do I set or change my availability status?
In the app, tap on My Account on the bottom-right corner. Set your availability from job preferences section.
Q: How do I know if I successfully applied to a job in the app and how do I view the jobs I've applied to?
Once you’ve applied to a job, a message should appear in the app confirming your application. An “applied” tab will appear on the job details screen. You should also receive a confirmation email. To see jobs you've applied to, tap My Jobs at the bottom of the Home screen, then choose Applied at the top of the screen.
Q: How do I update my existing resume?
Updating your resume isn’t available in the Robert Half app. However, you can always update your Profile by tapping ‘My Account’ in the bottom-right corner of the app when you are logged into your account to edit/add to all of your resume information.
Q: Can I search for remote jobs in the Robert Half app?
Yes, you can search exclusively for remote jobs by turning on the Remote Jobs filter in the filters screen during a job search. If a job is a remote job, you will see a globe icon on the job itself.
Q: Can I access my paystubs in the Robert Half app?
Yes, you can access your paystubs in the app by tapping “Pay” on the My Account screen.
Q: Why can’t I see my time report in the Robert Half app?
Time reports can only be seen in the app once you’ve started your assignment. On day one of your job, your time report will automatically appear on the home screen once you have logged in, in the time report section.
Account Management
Q: How do I find my username?
Your username is typically your personal email address. If you still can’t log in, follow these directions:
From a mobile device: Open the app and tap "Forgot username?" on the Sign In screen. Enter your email address in the next screen, tap Recover Username, and we'll email your username to you.
From a desktop computer: Click "Forgot username?" on the Sign In screen. Enter your email address in the next screen, click Recover Username, and we'll email your username to you.
Q: How do I change the email address and username in my Profile?
Sorry, you can't change the email address you used to create your account from our app or website. Please contact your local Robert Half branch office or [email protected] to update your email address.
Microsoft Teams Help
Q: How do I join a Microsoft Teams meeting from a Windows PC?
Follow these steps to join a Microsoft Teams meeting on your Windows PC:
1. Choose how you want to join
Click the meeting URL in the email we sent, or log in to your account and click “Join Meeting” on the Job Details page. You’ll then see options for joining the meeting.
- If you don’t have the Teams app installed on your PC, join through your browser by clicking “Continue on this browser”.
- If you have the Teams app installed on your PC, click “Open Teams (work or school)”.
2. Check your audio and video settings
Before joining the meeting, check your audio and video settings.
To use your internal mic, speaker and video camera:
- Make sure “Computer audio” is selected in the upper-right of the screen shown in the image below.
- Click the toggle switch (in the bottom-left) to turn on your video camera
- Click “Join now” when you’re ready to join the meeting.
To use an external mic, speaker or video camera:
- Click the Gear icon shown below, in the lower-middle of the screen.
- Choose “Custom Setup” on the right to open the “Device settings” panel.
- Select the speaker, microphone and video devices you want to use from the dropdown menus.
- Close the “Device settings” panel by clicking “X” at the top of the panel.
- Click “Join now” when you’re ready to join the meeting (see image above).
Q: How do I join a Microsoft Teams meeting from a Mac?
Follow these steps to join a Microsoft Teams meeting on your Mac:
1. Joining the meeting
To join a meeting, click the meeting URL in the email we sent, or log in to your account and click “Join Meeting” on the Job Details page.
- If you don’t have the Teams app installed on your Mac, join the meeting through your browser by choosing “Open Microsoft Teams” in the dialog box at the top. (If your browser is Safari, Microsoft recommends version 14 or higher. Make sure Safari is up to date before the meeting starts.)
- If you have the Teams app installed on your Mac, click “Open your Teams app” in the lower-right of the screen.
2. Check your audio and video settings
Before joining the meeting, check your microphone and camera settings by choosing “Devices” underneath the “Join now” button.
- Select your Mac’s internal microphone from the dropdown menu if it’s not already the default.
- Choose the camera you want to use, either your Mac’s internal device or an external camera.
- When your device settings are correct, click “Join now” to continue.
3. Allow Teams to access your camera and microphone
After you click “Join meeting,” a pop-up asks if you want to allow Teams to access your microphone and camera. Click “Allow” to start the meeting.
