Description
Robert Half Management Resources is seeking an Senior Internal Auditor to consult with our Phoenix based client.

Position is responsible for developing an internal audit plan in order to comply with Sarbanes Oxley requirements and conducting, financial, performance, information systems, compliance audits, and operational audits.
*The primary responsibility is to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
*Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls; Perform operational and risk based audits .
*Document quarterly compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and resolve and document any changes.
*Contributes in a lead role to the Sr. Management team in working with the business to understand and document key financial controls in accordance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes Oxley Act, identify changes to those controls, identify control weaknesses, recommend solutions and coordinate with Internal and External Audit to test controls.
*The position will have the opportunity to lead on various new initiatives throughout the business and will work directly with subsidiary businesses.
*Supervise and/or lead the Annual/Quarterly SOX Scoping (identify legal entities/business units and accounts that are material for the company)

Requirements
*Have a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting
*Have 3+ years experience in audit-prefer public accounting foundation.
*Have professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information
*Developed communication and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with the Audit Committee, Senior Management, internal staff, Program Manages and Third Party Administrators
CPA or CIA designation
*Have good written and verbal communication skills
*Strong interpersonal and oral/written/presentation communication skills required.
