Description
Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented detail oriented Financial Analyst for their healthcare client located in Pasadena, California. The Financial Analyst will manage and analyze monetary resources and affairs within the organization. The Financial Analyst candidate must have strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of internal clients. The candidate may also be responsible for conducting technical accounting research as needed. The Financial Analyst will also prepare and maintain supporting documentation for monthly, quarterly and annual reports. This role will update and collect business unit reporting packages, and help prepare ad hoc financial reporting as necessary. Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst will be to contact and verify property owners, process check reissuance or void checks, be an effective communicator, have knowledge and understanding of accounting guidelines and principles, and develop analytical reports.

Requirements
The Financial Analyst will possess the following qualifications:
-BA in Finance or Accounting required plus 3+ years of direct relevant experience
-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table) Analytical Data Modeling and Microsoft Access
-Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable terminology (Suppliers, Vouchers, Payment Reference etc.)
-Proficient in Oracle Data Base Management (Onelink)
-Effective communicator (detail oriented Business Writing - Email)
-Ability to develop analytical reports (Advance Excel) and Microsoft Access reporting
-Possess General Accounting knowledge
-Ability to prepare journal entries, adjust reconciliation schedules,and post.

Soft Skills include:
1. Writing Formulas ( Microsoft Excel)
2. Analytical Presentation (Microsoft Power Point)
3. Data Dumb from Mainframe system ( Onelink and Microsoft Access).
