The IT Arena Support Manager will be responsible for managing, setting-up/breaking down, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting the event technology for our new arena. You will hire and manage a team to deliver onsite technical and customer support. This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of IT.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

? Troubleshoot, evaluate, and perform game day and/or event day set-up routine, as well as equipment breakdown based on arena event schedule
? Provide technical support and equipment setup for a variety of events and end users including radio and TV broadcast, media, concert promoters, event staff, etc.
? Manage a team of two to three arena support staff, as well as schedule and plan accordingly to provide adequate coverage for game and/or event day
? Ensure network performance and availability meets organizational objectives.
? Work with IT Security team to identify, evaluate and implement technical security controls to continuously improve the organization?s security posture and ensure compliance with organizational security policies and practices.
? Track and monitor changes and problems to ensure accurate change / resolution logs.
? Maintain orderly and organized network cable management in data center and IDFs.
? Provide general LAN, WAN, and WLAN support on game day and/or event days.
? Along with the IT Operations team, manage and troubleshoot arena high density wireless network (Aruba APs, Clearpass, Mobility, Introspect, Airwave)

Required Experience and Skills

? BS in technology related field or equivalent IT support management experience
? Three to five years of general IT support such as helpdesk and/or engineering and deployment experience designing and/or supporting WLAN and LAN/WAN technologies
? Two to four years of management experience
? In-depth knowledge of network management, network infrastructure, patch panels, and fiber connectors
? Strong DHCP, DNS and IP subnetting experience
? Experience with audio/visual systems including: DANTE, IPTV, Crestron, as well as VoIP phone systems, printers/copiers, IOS and Android mobile devices, and Windows and Mac OS desktop computer support.
? Experience with network and wireless troubleshooting and diagnostic tools.
? Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
? Experience working with multiple 3rd party vendors and internet service providers.
? Experience with enterprise monitoring applications.
? Strong understanding of network security concepts, technologies and trends.
