The ideal candidate will bring expertise in lending, compliance, and strategic management to ensure operational excellence and sustainable growth.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Provide strategic direction and leadership for the tribal lending enterprise, ensuring alignment with tribal values and long-term economic development objectives.<br>• Oversee all operational aspects, including lending strategies, risk management, compliance frameworks, financial performance, and customer experience.<br>• Ensure adherence to tribal laws, federal regulations, and governance policies, safeguarding the Tribe’s sovereignty and interests.<br>• Collaborate with the Tribal Council, Board of Directors, and other governing bodies as the primary liaison.<br>• Develop and implement growth strategies that promote profitability, sustainability, and responsible lending practices.<br>• Lead executive and senior management teams, fostering accountability, ethical leadership, and operational excellence.<br>• Monitor financial health, portfolio performance, and key performance indicators; approve budgets and capital allocation plans.<br>• Manage relationships with vendors, third-party providers, and strategic partners critical to the lending operations.<br>• Identify and mitigate risks, including legal, regulatory, credit, and reputational challenges.<br>• Represent the organization in regulatory discussions, industry forums, and strategic negotiations to uphold the Tribe’s interests.
