This role will require a detail-oriented and organized individual who is proficient in processing medical insurance collections and following up with insurance companies and patients.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br><br>• Handle medical insurance collections with efficiency and precision<br>• Engage in regular communication with insurance companies to expedite collections<br>• Follow up with patients for retrieving any missing information as necessary<br>• Utilize the Advanced MD accounting system for maintaining accurate records<br>• Ensure all customer credit applications are processed accurately and promptly<br>• Maintain comprehensive and accurate customer credit records<br>• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as required<br>• Contribute to the team's targets by ensuring maximum collection<br>• Use skills in Accounts Receivable (AR), Appeals, Authorizations, Benefit Functions, Billing Functions, and Cash Collections to improve collection processes<br>• Apply knowledge of Healthcare Insurance, Healthcare Reimbursement, and Healthcare Revenue Cycle for effective functioning in the healthcare industry.
