- We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure initiatives. This contract opportunity is ideal for a hands-on technical specialist who can strengthen complex environments while resolving advanced infrastructure issues across servers, networks, virtualization, and storage. The role combines project delivery with high-level operational support, offering the chance to contribute to both ongoing stability and future infrastructure improvements.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise infrastructure components, including routing, switching, server platforms, storage systems, and related technologies.<br>• Provide Tier 3 technical support by diagnosing complex issues, identifying root causes, and restoring service across network, virtualization, backup, and server environments.<br>• Lead or contribute to infrastructure projects lasting several months by gathering technical requirements, shaping solution designs, coordinating implementation plans, and producing clear documentation.<br>• Configure and support Cisco-based networking equipment and enterprise firewall solutions to ensure secure, reliable connectivity across the organization.<br>• Administer VMware environments and manage Windows and Linux servers to support performance, availability, and operational continuity.<br>• Oversee enterprise storage and backup or disaster recovery platforms, helping protect critical systems and data through effective administration and troubleshooting.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to align infrastructure solutions with business and technical needs.<br>• Create and maintain technical documentation for configurations, procedures, designs, and support activities to improve knowledge sharing and operational consistency.
