- <p>Our client, a well-known multi-unit restaurant organization, is seeking an Interim Director of Finance to step in and support the finance function during a period of transaction activity and leadership transition. This is a hands-on role for a consultant who can operate independently, get up to speed quickly, and work comfortably alongside executive leadership. Client name will be shared with candidates under consideration.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You'll Be Doing</strong></p><ul><li>Own the monthly and quarterly close process, including variance analysis and reporting to leadership</li><li>Lead budget preparation and rolling forecasts, partnering with operations and unit-level leadership</li><li>Support active M&A work on both the buy side and sell side, including due diligence, data room preparation, quality of earnings support, and integration planning</li><li>Build and maintain financial models supporting deal analysis, scenario planning, and long-range planning</li><li>Deliver management reporting packages and present results, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership</li><li>Partner cross-functionally with accounting, operations, and outside advisors throughout the transaction process</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements across reporting, forecasting, and close</li></ul>
