Katie Weigel with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is recruiting to fill a Full Charge Bookkeeper role for a small business in Sparks, Nevada. Day to day there are a wide range of responsibilities, to include:<br> • Maintain GL, financial statements and all balance sheet items including depreciation<br>• Ensures that all manufacturer accounts including warranty claims, rebates, parts inventory, and other accounts are current and accurate. <br>• Enter and reconcile all AR accounts. There will be some AP responsibilities as well.<br>• Responsible for all bank reconciliations <br>• Process all related aspects of payroll on a semi-monthly basis (QuickBooks) and perform HR related tasks such as maintaining employee records and assisting with administering company HR benefits. <br>• Assist outside CPA firm and external auditors to prepare monthly and quarterly Federal/State Tax Returns, remittance of Sales Tax (TPT) and yearly returns to ensure correct and timely reporting. <br>• Maintain all business licenses and insurances etc. <br>• Invoice sales and track payoffs<br>• Track and reconcile loan docs with manufacturers and lenders<br>Qualficiations:<br>At least 7 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, with at least 5 years of experience preparing financials.<br>An Associate’s or Bachelors’ degree with business or accounting coursework preferred, but not required<br>Benefits include: <br>• Medical benefits are paid 100% by employer including all family members , dental and vision.<br>• 2 Weeks Vacation, 5 Sick Days, and 2 PTO Days<br>• Holidays (All listed AGC holidays) <br>This is a tight knit group that likes to have fun. You'll play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate payroll operations while collaborating with field teams and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Process payroll cycles efficiently, including timecard validation, batch posting, payroll register reviews, and check printing.</p><p>• Utilize timekeeping systems to manage timecards, equipment entries, and related exports.</p><p>• Prepare and submit Certified Payroll Reports in adherence to federal, state, and agency-specific requirements.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with prevailing wage laws, fringe benefit calculations, and union fringe requirements.</p><p>• Manage weekly tax payments, garnishments, and payroll-related documentation while maintaining detailed audit records.</p><p>• Collaborate with field staff to resolve timecard discrepancies and secure approvals for timely payroll processing.</p><p>• Generate routine payroll reports, including 401(k) contribution summaries and compliance documentation.</p><p>• Support office operations by ordering supplies, preparing documents, and assisting executives with clerical tasks.</p><p>• Participate in cross-departmental training to enhance company-wide operations and provide additional support as needed.</p><p>• Maintain payroll backup files and ensure proper archiving of audit reports.</p>
