Paralegal <p>We are in search of a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team in the IT Software industry in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a Paralegal, your main responsibility will be to manage and scale operations in compliance, including privacy, export, and other relevant areas. For immediate consideration, apply today and contact Grace Nowlin at (202) 998-8423 for additional information.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee all tactical and operational aspects of the privacy program and support continuous improvement initiatives.</p><p>• Lead on Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) processes and manage data subject access requests (DSARs).</p><p>• Maintain and manage the record of processing and International Commissioner's Office (ICO) registrations for the organization's UK entities.</p><p>• Manage export screening process using the software tool, Descartes, and maintain and update all Export Commerce Control Numbers (ECCN).</p><p>• Assist with the development of the Legal Department’s contributions to its social impact strategy when required.</p><p>• Assist with integrations of newly acquired companies, including reviewing the DPIA process, updating the ECCN materials, amending the intra-group data protection agreement.</p><p>• Maintain a repository of guides, policies, and other documents needed to assist with compliance matters.</p><p>• Develop and manage a library of compliance responses to support compliance audits and questionnaires, ESG and vendor surveys, and RFP questions.</p><p>• Identify key opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to eliminate identified compliance deficiencies.</p><p>• Develop and educate employees and other stakeholders on relevant training materials and act as a knowledge expert in compliance on the Legal Team.</p><p>• Support the creation and distribution of necessary policies, notices, and other internal- and external- facing disclosures.</p>
