- <p>Robert Half Finance and Accounting is working with an established real estate and development firm in Fort Worth, Texas on a search for a Staff Accountant. This position supports the accounting and financial reporting activities for a portfolio of properties while working closely with the Controller, property management teams, and investment partners.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Prepare monthly financial packages for a portfolio of real estate assets.</p><p>• Examine lease documentation and summaries to confirm financial terms and supporting details are correct.</p><p>• Process renovation funding requests and internal draw submissions in a timely and accurate manner.</p><p>• Partner with property managers to develop annual operating budgets for assigned properties.</p><p>• Perform monthly cash reviews and analyze account activity to support sound financial oversight.</p><p>• Assemble supporting schedules and documentation for audits, external reviews, and tax preparation.</p><p>• Contribute to ad hoc analysis, historical financial research, and special assignments as needed.</p><p>• Apply GAAP principles to daily accounting work, reconciliations, and period-end close activities</p><p><br></p><p>This growing organization offers a competitive compensation package up to $85K, plus Bonus, and benefits.
