<p>Our client, a rapidly growing Insurance Provider, is looking for a Senior Accountant to take the lead on financial reporting, general ledger oversight, and strategic investment support for their growing insurance operations.</p><p>This is more than just closing the books—this role is central to driving accuracy, compliance, and performance across our finance function.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities of this position will include:</p><p><strong>Own the Numbers</strong> – Lead all general ledger activity related to premium revenue, claims, reserves, and reinsurance. Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting aligned with GAAP and statutory standards.</p><p><strong>Master the Close</strong> – Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including loss reserve schedules, claim liability reconciliations, and underwriting analytics.</p><p><strong>Drive Investment Accounting</strong> – Manage the investment close process—reconcile accounts, post journal entries, and prepare key reports. Support valuations of fixed income, equities, and alternatives.</p><p><strong>Lead Treasury Operations</strong> – Help manage daily cash flows, bank reconciliations, liquidity strategies, and working capital optimization. Play a key role in banking relationships and debt covenant compliance.</p><p><strong>Champion Controls & Process Improvements</strong> – Ensure compliance with SOX/internal controls.
