Network Engineer<p>We are seeking a skilled <strong>Network Engineer</strong> for a short-term contract to support the network setup for our client's new restaurant opening! The engineer will be responsible for ensuring all network infrastructure, including POS systems, servers, and terminals, is properly connected and functioning. This role requires hands-on work with cabling, networking hardware, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless operations.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Set up and configure network infrastructure to support POS systems, back-office desktops, and related hardware.</li><li>Ensure all POS terminals communicate effectively with the back-office desktop.</li><li>Install, verify, and validate existing cabling; run additional cabling as needed.</li><li>Work with a dummy switch and dummy router, routing cabling back to the switch in the office.</li><li>Establish an uplink from the core stack (Cisco Meraki) to run data to the main rack.</li><li>Collaborate directly with t<strong>he Director of Food & Beverage</strong>, to ensure networking needs align with the restaurant’s opening timeline.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues, ensuring a stable and efficient network environment.</li></ul>Software DeveloperWe are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Software Developer in Franklin, Tennessee. As a part of our team, you will be involved in various aspects of software development, testing, and implementation, along with maintaining quality assurance and providing solutions for potential problem areas. This role also involves interaction with client vendors for creating and implementing integrations.<br><br>Responsibilities: <br>• Contribute to the design, building, and implementation of software as part of the overall development process.<br>• Develop and test new features or applications as per business and client requirements.<br>• Ensure Quality Assurance on code prior to implementation, providing appropriate use cases and coverage for implementations.<br>• Collaborate with the team to identify potential issues, propose solutions, and plan for future improvements.<br>• Modify scripts for clients, primarily using PowerShell.<br>• Engage with client vendors for the creation and implementation of integrations.<br>• Document user stories for code updates and maintain a track of changes in the code repository.<br>• Facilitate discussions with non-technical team members and stakeholders.<br>• Identify the root cause of production issues and implement solutions to meet service level standards.<br>• Maintain a shared repository for logging knowledge and resolving errors.<br>• Communicate changes and downtime with the team and clients prior to implementing the change.<br>• Keep an updated strategic planning manual with continuity business plan and goals.
