As a Paralegal, your duties will include preparing and reviewing loan documents, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring the bank's procedures and systems are effectively implemented.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Implement bank procedures and systems to prepare and review commercial loan documents<br>• Ensure bank's collateral, lien position, and funding requirements are met and consistent with loan approvals<br>• Coordinate with Banker and Borrower or their representative to obtain bank required due diligence items<br>• Review organizational documents, trust agreements, title commitments, surveys, insurance, loan presentations, and commitment letters<br>• Identify closing and documentation issues that arise throughout the closing process and independently develop practical resolutions<br>• Coordinate and schedule closings to ensure loans close properly and are processed in a timely manner<br>• Prepare documentation and closing packages for all types of commercial loans<br>• Accurately manage disbursement method for any closing<br>• Review executed documents after closing to ensure accuracy, resolving any issues found promptly<br>• Confirm perfection of Bank’s lien on collateral prior to closing and funding<br>• Collaborate with other departments and associates to develop a team approach to projects, resolve issues, or investigate new developments<br>• Review and analyze UCC, tax, judgment, bankruptcy and real estate searches, payoff letters, and surveys to identify potential legal issues<br>• Represent the Bank in a detail oriented manner when dealing with customers’ inquiries and/or their legal representatives and relevant third parties<br>• Develop a strong knowledge of core legal documentation for each product offered by the Bank
