This company also offers an opportunity for a long-term career GROWTH, incredible benefits including strong PTO, fantastic health insurance benefits, bonus opportunities, annual raises, and 401k match!</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>If interested in taking the next step in your career, please get in touch with Austen Zemrock directly at 501-255-2056 or through LinkedIn. </strong></p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p><br></p><p>• Perform detailed analysis of financial data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to management.</p><p>• Oversee high-level reconciliations, including fixed assets, deferred revenue, and other specialized accounts.</p><p>• Take ownership of the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of detailed journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.</p><p>• Review and approve work submitted by Staff Accountants.</p><p>• Monitor compliance with internal controls and policies, recommending updates to improve operational efficiency.</p><p>• Train and mentor Staff Accountants and Specialists, serving as a resource for resolving complex accounting issues.</p><p>• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of a designated accounting function, developing expertise in the area and serving as the primary point of contact.</p><p>• Prepare detailed schedules and reports for management review related to assigned processes.</p><p>• Lead and contribute to ad-hoc projects, such as system implementations or financial modeling.</p><p>• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP.</p>
