This role includes reviewing customer requirements, managing proposals and cost estimates, leading contract negotiations, and ensuring contract terms are met across departments. You’ll also support business development by identifying opportunities to expand existing contracts and win new work.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead a team in preparing cost estimates and proposals.</li><li>Manage contract review, negotiation, approval, and closeout.</li><li>Draft and interpret contract documents and terms.</li><li>Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries and proposals.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate proposals.</li><li>Maintain contract records and ensure compliance with terms and policies.</li><li>Mentor and support team members, ensuring effective leadership and performance.</li><li>Drive process improvements and adapt to industry changes.</li><li>Implement/develop performance metrics: number of quotes in process, average turnaround time, quotes per estimator, post-mortem analysis</li><li>Role Scope: Focused on contracts and estimating NOT full supply chain. Manages external customer contracts ONLY (e.g., Spirit, Boeing, Textron, Airbus). Responsibilities include contract review, risk identification, and coordination with outside counsel.</li></ul><p><br></p>
