Sr. AccountantWe are seeking an experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team located in HARTSELLE, Alabama. This role involves managing the financial close process, reconciling balance sheets, reviewing and analyzing profitability, and more. This is an exciting opportunity that offers a chance to work in an engaging and dynamic industry.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee the full set of books to ensure accurate financial management<br>• Direct the financial close process for an assigned entity<br>• Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts ranging from Cash to Retained Earnings/Net Income<br>• Conduct in-depth reviews and analysis of the P& L and Job profitability<br>• Handle weekly postings of equipment, fuel charge out, and payroll entries<br>• Carry out bank reconciliation tasks to maintain financial integrity<br>• Manage monthly prepayments, accrival, and allocations<br>• Oversee Fixed Assets and Depreciation accounting<br>• Review Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Credit Card Transactions for accuracy<br>• Handle posting and reconciling of intercompany transactions and accounts<br>• Assist with audit and tax requirements when necessary<br>• Utilize Excel for pivot tables and vlookups to perform data analysis<br>• Leverage accounting software knowledge, preferably Quickbooks desktop or other ERP system, for various tasks.
