This role is vital to our operations and includes handling customer inquiries, maintaining comprehensive customer records, processing customer applications, and overseeing customer accounts. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities: </p><p>• Effectively manage customer inquiries, providing high-quality customer service</p><p>• Maintain current and accurate customer records</p><p>• Process customer applications with attention to detail and efficiency</p><p>• Oversee customer accounts and take necessary actions</p><p>• Respond to inbound calls and maintain communication via email</p><p>• Schedule appointments and manage inbound and outbound calls</p><p>• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) for various tasks</p><p>• Carry out data entry tasks ensuring accuracy and timeliness</p><p>• Apply underwriting skills, specifically in the commercial sector, as needed</p><p>• Engage in the process of underwriting commercial transportation risks</p><p>• Review submissions to identify risk exposure and determine accurate classifications, rates, and premium charges</p><p>• Participate in the marketing of products to retail insurance agents and brokers in coordination with management</p><p>• Communicate with management regarding individual accounts, current and proposed producers, and make recommendations concerning operations, systems, and procedures when appropriate</p><p>• Verify all policies and endorsements for completeness and accuracy, and follow up for corrections.</p>
