This position will require assistance with the internal auditing process. The objective of this process is to ensure compliance with rules, regulations, company policies and investor guidelines as well as the compilation of pertinent data to report to senior management and contributing staff. <br> <br>Job Requirements: <br>• High School Diploma with some College or University<br>• Excellent written and oral communications skills.<br>• Ability to communicate at all levels: Advanced computer skills; Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, legal documents<br>• Microsoft Office intermediate competence in Outlook, Word, Excel and Access Database.<br>• Familiarization with Portable Document Format (PDF)<br>• Analytical, problem-solving, organizational, negotiating and scanning skills in reading and numbers<br>• Ability to multi-task to be able to work with one or more systems at a time<br>• Ability to effectively present information to top management and Quality Control Analyst<br>• The ability to work on problem resolutions<br>• General knowledge of Mortgage Regulatory Laws <br> <br>Description: <br>Part of the duties of the Quality Control Department include:<br>• Performing weekly reviews on In-Processing, Denied loans.<br>• Monthly Loan Origination Post-Closing reviews<br>• Monthly Loan Servicing Reviews.<br>• Quarterly Servicing Review<br>• Monthly HMDA updates. <br>• Attend and participate in regularly scheduled meetings with department managers to discuss and review exceptions and recommend corrective actions in an effort to eliminate or at the very least minimize exceptions.<br> <br>Primary Responsibilities for the Quality Control Analyst Assistant Include: <br>• Running system reports<br>• Weekly In-Process Loans<br>• Weekly Denied Loans<br>• Monthly Servicing Review<br>• Information access through FHA Connections and FHA Catalyst<br>• Quarterly Servicing Review<br>• Monthly accuracy of HMDA fields<br>• Data entry and corrections made in both Origination System and HMDA Software<br>• Reviewing, evaluating and synthesizing data to confirm loan viability and saleability, identifying risk issues, potential fraud, analyzing loans with guideline exceptions, missing documents, missing signatures before the loan gets to closing<br>• Review denied loans for compliance with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA)<br>• Email Senior Management and Loan Officers on findings<br>• Monthly Review of Social Media on Loan Officers, i.e. Linked-In, Instagram and Facebook<br>• Assist Quality Control Analyst with written procedures on tasks<br>• Maintain procedures manuals<br>• Other quality control duties and or assignments as required by managementLoan Closer - SupportWe are looking for a meticulous and customer-focused Loan Closer to join our team in El Paso, Texas, on a contract basis.
