<p>We are looking for a skilled Technical Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Clinton, Iowa. This role requires a versatile, detail-oriented individual who can address both automation and general maintenance needs within a dynamic plant environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background, adaptability, and the ability to work across multiple systems and tasks.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Diagnose and repair issues with production equipment and plant systems to minimize downtime.</p><p>• Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot automation systems, including older Siemens S7 platforms.</p><p>• Conduct preventative maintenance procedures and document findings for future reference.</p><p>• Analyze and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to guide maintenance tasks.</p><p>• Use AutoCAD for referencing equipment layouts and ensuring accurate system designs.</p><p>• Perform welding and mechanical repairs as required to support plant operations.</p><p>• Oversee the maintenance of facility vehicles and contribute to general plant upkeep.</p><p>• Handle electrical tasks such as wiring, sensor installation, and repairs to boilers and tensioners.</p><p>• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of all systems.</p>
