<p><strong>Summary</strong></p><p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>Infrastructure Engineer</strong> to maintain and optimize the <strong>Linux environment</strong> supporting Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) development across virtual and physical machines, both on-premises and in the cloud. This role involves system administration, automation, and collaboration with CAE leadership to ensure a secure, reliable, and high-performance environment.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Daily Tasks:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide CAE Linux user support for incidents and inquiries.</li><li>Handle application installation and update requests.</li><li>Monitor overall health of the CAE Linux environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Weekly Tasks:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide status updates to team leadership on completed work, pending tasks, and roadblocks.</li></ul><p><strong>Monthly Tasks:</strong></p><ul><li>Apply monthly patches to systems.</li><li>Maintain and develop automation for application installation, network storage management, and user management.</li></ul><p><strong>Annual Tasks:</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with CAE leadership to continuously improve the CAE Linux environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Manage CAE application installation and maintenance.</li><li>Maintain HPC job submission scripts.</li><li>Implement system patching and maintenance.</li><li>Drive task automation for operational efficiency.</li></ul>
