We are looking for an experienced Inventory Analyst to join our team in Tampa, Florida, on a long-term contract basis. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy of inventory records through meticulous reconciliations, data entry, and variance analysis. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment while contributing to process improvements and maintaining compliance with inventory management standards.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Enter data from external warehouse reports and physical inventory counts into the Master Inventory file to support reconciliation processes.<br>• Perform reconciliations of month-end inventory balances between plant systems and external warehouses for various product and location combinations.<br>• Investigate and analyze inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.<br>• Collaborate with Material Management colleagues to provide documentation and support for inventory corrections.<br>• Ensure adherence to internal control requirements and company policies related to inventory management.<br>• Calculate inventory shrinkage and request necessary adjustments to maintain accurate records.<br>• Facilitate and oversee physical inventory counts in accordance with company standards and policies.<br>• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and improved efficiency using Microsoft Office tools and other technologies.<br>• Compile and prepare data for internal reporting purposes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
