This is an URGENT hire as the firm has many trials coming up.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities include:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Develop relationships with clients as you establish legal objectives, explain legal options, provide legal advice, and represent clients in court and mediation</li><li>Draft pleadings and discovery for all aspects of a case, including law and motion, discovery motions, propounding discovery, depositions, mediations, and trial</li><li>Take depositions of parties, percipient witnesses, and experts</li><li>Consultation with, and preparation of, experts</li><li>Research and articulate findings based upon research into complex areas of the law to support case strategy and theories to be raised in the litigation. Be able to raise new theories for consideration in cases.</li><li>Manage intensive fact discovery in a case including to be able to use and willing to use electronic discovery platforms and wade through ESI issues</li><li>Comprehensive and clear reporting to partners and client representatives</li><li>Persuasive communication and negotiation with opposing counsel</li></ul><p><br></p>

This individual will play a critical role in streamlining day-to-day operations, managing executive-level communications, and ensuring the smooth coordination of internal and external activities.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Act as a key liaison between executive leadership and internal teams, board members, and external partners.</li><li>Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate domestic and international travel logistics.</li><li>Prepare meeting agendas, compile and distribute presentation materials, and track follow-up actions for board and leadership meetings.</li><li>Draft, process, and reconcile expense reports with accuracy and timeliness.</li><li>Support the development of executive presentations and briefing documents.</li><li>Lead general office administration, including inventory management and vendor coordination for office supplies and equipment.</li><li>Maintain shared calendars and schedules for organization-wide events, holidays, and key deadlines.</li><li>Serve as the point person for day-to-day office operations, ensuring an efficient and professional environment.</li><li>Plan and execute logistics for board meetings, all-hands meetings, executive offsites, and special events.</li><li>Manage hospitality arrangements, including catering and guest services.</li><li>Provide basic AV setup and technical support for in-person and hybrid meetings.</li><li>Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams on tradeshow schedules and external event planning.</li><li>Assist with cross-functional projects and special initiatives as needed.</li><li>Identify areas for administrative process improvement and help implement solutions to improve workflow and efficiency.</li></ul>
