This position requires a seasoned consultant with a proven track record in corporate accounting leadership, company integrations, and intercompany accounting. The Interim Controller will supervise a team of at least 10 accounting professionals and play a key role in optimizing financial processes, ensuring compliance, and driving system conversions. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Oversight:Manage and supervise a team of 10+ accounting staff across various functions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to deadlines.Provide leadership and mentorship to the team, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.Act as the primary accounting leader, reporting directly to senior management and providing financial insights to drive strategic decision-making.Corporate Accounting & Compliance:Oversee all facets of corporate accounting, including intercompany accounting, financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and internal controls.Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and other regulatory standards.Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.Lead efforts to implement and monitor best practices in shared services environments.
