This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to collaborate with various teams and contribute to critical payroll operations in the healthcare industry.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process payroll requests promptly and accurately using payroll software.<br>• Address employee inquiries related to payroll by gathering and analyzing relevant information.<br>• Review and verify timecards and payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.<br>• Prepare and post bi-weekly journal entries into the accounting system.<br>• Generate month-end reports, including allocation reports and dashboards, to support financial analysis.<br>• Reconcile payroll liabilities with the general ledger to maintain financial accuracy.<br>• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.<br>• Manage garnishment reporting, 401(k) reporting, and benefit-related payroll tasks.<br>• Conduct bi-weekly employee orientation sessions and site-specific training as needed.<br>• Maintain payroll records and procedures while safeguarding employee confidentiality.
