This position involves preparing detailed reports, maintaining reconciliations, and assisting with month-end closing processes.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with organizational standards.<br>• Provide timely and detailed financial data to support management decision-making.<br>• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and account tracking, especially for prepaid and accrual accounts.<br>• Maintain and update fixed asset schedules, including tracking depreciation and reconciling subsidiary ledgers with general ledger accounts.<br>• Oversee the tracking and capitalization of construction-in-progress assets.<br>• Review and validate travel and purchasing card expenses, ensuring proper documentation and appropriate account posting.<br>• Calculate and accrue sales and use taxes as needed, and compile monthly sales tax reports.<br>• Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis and assist with AR/AP functions as required.<br>• Support payroll processing and assist with internal and external audits.<br>• Collaborate with the Controller to address routine financial issues and develop improved processes.
