- <p><strong>Robert Half</strong> is actively partnering with an Austin-based client to identify a Web Design Developer <strong>(contract).</strong> In this role, you will lead the strategy, development, and ongoing enhancement of internally developed digital platforms and web-based applications. This role combines product ownership, user experience design, and hands-on web development to deliver scalable, user-focused solutions that support business objectives. <strong>This role is onsite in Austin, Tx. </strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead products and web applications from concept through implementation, enhancement, and ongoing support.</li><li>Define product roadmaps, gather business requirements, and prioritize features based on organizational goals and user needs.</li><li>Partner with stakeholders, technical teams, and business leaders to align project objectives and deliverables.</li><li>Advocate for user-centered design and ensure applications meet usability and accessibility standards.</li><li>Develop and maintain web-based applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and related technologies.</li><li>Design responsive, user-friendly interfaces that provide a consistent experience across desktop and mobile devices.</li><li>Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts and functionality.</li><li>Utilize automation and data analysis tools to improve workflows, efficiency, and reporting capabilities.</li><li>Integrate and support APIs and connected systems to enhance platform functionality.</li><li>Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability.</li><li>Support ongoing enhancements, troubleshooting, testing, and deployment activities.</li><li>Participate in additional technology and digital transformation initiatives as needed.</li></ul>
