<p>We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Senior Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Austin, Texas. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to contribute to a variety of legal matters within a dynamic and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong generalist background and excel in contract drafting, legal analysis, and coordination with external counsel. This position is HYBRID 3x/week in office.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Drafting and reviewing routine business contracts and agreements.</li><li>Researching, analyzing, and summarizing Texas law and providing succinct legal memoranda via email.</li><li>Managing and assisting with resolution of small pre-litigation disputes.</li><li>Coordinating and directing outside counsel for various legal matters, from regulatory to civil litigation, based on our approved counsel list.</li><li>Providing high-level oversight of outside counsel performance, including optional review of legal bills.</li><li>Serving as a lead for weekly legal reviews, delegation, and prioritization on behalf of the General Counsel.</li><li>Navigating a broad generalist portfolio that excludes HR and IT, but includes real estate, regulatory, environmental, litigation, and other corporate legal issues.</li></ul>
