Director of Development <p>Director of Development</p><p>Robert Half is search for a talented Director of Development who will lead all technology efforts related to application development, database programming and administration, scripting, quality control and client implementations. Works with internal and external stakeholders to determine appropriate strategies and execute solutions that are in alignment with business objectives while contributing to the success of the company’s clients.</p><p><br></p><p>This role is 5 days onsite</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities Include:</p><ul><li>TEAM LEADERSHIP: Leads a team of skilled developers, database administrators and technical specialists ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions and operational excellence. Oversees and ensures effective departmental processes, strategies, plans and measurement systems to deliver favorable outcomes for the company and its clients.</li><li>STRATEGY: Plays pivotal role in shaping the overall technology roadmap including web applications, data management, and implementation processes.</li><li>STAKEHOLDER COLLABORATION: Works closely with internal stakeholders (Sales, Client Success, Operations, Back Office, Executive Team) and external stakeholders (clients, vendors) to understand business needs and deliver impactful technical solutions. Serves as technology expert and assists with sales efforts. Serves as a “face of TI Technology” and visibly participates in industry events and external communication efforts.</li><li>PROJECT OVERSIGHT: Oversees the development, implementation, and ongoing support of web applications and databases, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with business goals.</li><li>INNOVATION AND BEST PRACTICES: Promotes best practices in software development, database management, and scripting, while encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.</li><li>TALENT MANAGEMENT: Provides effective and on-going feedback and coaching to team members and ensures effective development and performance management practices are embraced by team leadership. Recommends staffing changes and/or additions and conducts thorough and effective hiring for all department positions.</li><li>RESOURCE MANAGEMENT: Ensures effective allocation of resources to meet business needs and drive efficiency.</li><li>RISK MANAGEMENT: Identifies potential risks related to technology, security, and data, and implements appropriate mitigation strategies.</li><li>MAINTENANCE OF COMPANY STANDARDS: Maintains an active expert level awareness of Company policies, security protocols, compliance requirements and HR requirements as it relates to managing associate groups and ensures adherence to best practices. This role operates in the intersection of technology and data management, with a key focus on ensuring compliance with risk and regulatory expectations. The Data Governance Consultant will have a significant role in influencing and driving the adoption of Enterprise Data Management strategies, policies, standards, and control frameworks across our organization.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Advocate for and support the implementation of Data Governance, specifically concerning sensitive data, data scanning, and data privatization across the organization<br>• Provide comprehensive program oversight for large and complex data initiatives, engaging with multiple concurrent teams and projects<br>• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to influence and drive the adoption of Enterprise Data Management strategies<br>• Lead and coach execution teams within the domain of data sensitivity and scanning<br>• Drive Program Increment ceremonies, including PO sync, planning, problem-solving workshops, and system demos<br>• Monitor and manage Agile metrics, program coordination, and management briefings<br>• Leverage skills in Apache Spark, Atlassian Jira, BusinessObjects Technologies, Erwin Data, Gap Analysis, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Analytics, Business Intelligence (BI), Business Requirement Document to perform tasks effectively<br>• Process and maintain accurate data records, taking appropriate action when needed.
