Customer Service Representative We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Amarillo, Texas. In this role, you will be the main contact point for our customers, managing customer interactions with professionalism and respect, and ensuring a world-class customer experience. <br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Handle customer purchase orders and convert them into manufacturing production orders<br>• Maintain communication with internal and external customers regarding order status, estimates/quotations, order changes, and confirmations<br>• Monitor and manage customer inventory levels, taking proactive steps to prevent any discrepancies<br>• Investigate and resolve issues such as order discrepancies, customer quality complaints, overdue accounts receivable, and aged inventory<br>• Engage closely with operations, shipping, and maintenance representatives on a daily basis to stay updated on plant activities that could impact customer order fulfillment<br>• Coordinate with design, sales, pricing, and operations department to manage the implementation of new customer items<br>• Enforce correct order unitization and manage customer-specific reporting requirements<br>• Coordinate with internal and external vendors to ensure the correct tooling artwork and CADs are approved by the customer and provided to the manufacturing team<br>• Provide data reporting of orders, sales, and inventory to plant management, sales teams, and customers as requested<br>• Participate actively in the plant's non-price improvement initiatives, especially in the areas of aged inventory, trailer utilization, and operational efficiencies.
