Media Director
We are looking for an experienced Media Director to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Wilmington, Delaware. This role involves crafting and implementing strategic media plans for pharmaceutical brands, with a focus on healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of omnichannel media strategies, brand integration, and agency collaboration to enhance campaign performance and meet organizational goals.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Develop and implement comprehensive media strategies tailored to various pharmaceutical brands and therapeutic areas.<br>• Translate overarching brand objectives into actionable media plans that drive engagement and measurable results.<br>• Collaborate with brand teams to ensure media strategies align seamlessly with broader marketing and commercial objectives.<br>• Contribute to annual brand planning, product launch preparations, and lifecycle management.<br>• Manage relationships with external media agencies, ensuring strategic alignment, quality execution, and adherence to budget requirements.<br>• Conduct agency briefings, evaluate performance, and oversee contract negotiations.<br>• Monitor and optimize campaign performance based on established KPIs such as reach, engagement, and prescription lift.<br>• Work with analytics teams to gather insights and refine media targeting strategies for improved outcomes.<br>• Stay informed on media trends, industry innovations, and compliance standards within the pharmaceutical sector.<br>• Partner with cross-functional teams, including brand, medical, legal, and analytics, to present media strategies and performance updates.
• Proven experience in media strategy and planning, particularly within the pharmaceutical industry.<br>• Strong knowledge of omnichannel media planning and performance optimization.<br>• Expertise in developing campaigns targeting healthcare professionals.<br>• Demonstrated ability to manage agency relationships, including briefing, evaluation, and contract negotiations.<br>• Solid understanding of brand strategy integration and lifecycle management.<br>• Proficiency in analyzing campaign performance metrics and refining strategies based on insights.<br>• Effective collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and leadership.<br>• Up-to-date knowledge of media trends, innovations, and compliance requirements in the healthcare sector.
