General Office Clerk
We are looking for a dedicated General Office Clerk to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This long-term contract position involves supporting essential operational tasks to ensure smooth and efficient processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to handling daily responsibilities.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage and organize vehicle keys to ensure accountability and security.<br>• Perform accurate data entry to maintain updated records and documentation.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Word to create and format documents as needed.<br>• Scan and file important documents to maintain an efficient record-keeping system.<br>• Handle shipping tasks, including preparing packages and coordinating shipments.<br>• Process pull requests promptly and ensure they are completed accurately.<br>• Collaborate with team members and other departments to streamline operations.<br>• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.<br>• Identify and resolve issues promptly to maintain workflow efficiency.
• At least 1 year of experience in a clerical or administrative role.<br>• Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with organizing files.<br>• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and its functions.<br>• Ability to handle scanning and shipping tasks efficiently.<br>• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.<br>• Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
