Paralegal
We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Tampa, Florida. This role requires someone who is detail oriented with a strong background in family law to assist in managing legal proceedings, preparing documentation, and coordinating schedules. The position offers flexibility with approximately 20 hours per week, ensuring a balance between work and personal commitments.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare and manage financial disclosures and discovery materials with accuracy and attention to detail.<br>• Schedule and coordinate hearings, mediations, and depositions while maintaining clear communication with all parties.<br>• Utilize case management software to organize and track legal documents and case progress.<br>• Maintain a detailed calendar for court dates, hearings, and mediation sessions to ensure smooth operations.<br>• Collaborate with attorneys to draft legal documents and review templates for accuracy.<br>• Communicate effectively with clients and legal professionals to ensure timely updates and responses.<br>• Assist in setting up mediation sessions and hearings, ensuring all logistics are in place.<br>• Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court requirements and legal procedures.<br>• Provide support in case preparation and organization to facilitate efficient legal processes.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a paralegal role, with a focus on family law.<br>• Proficiency in case management software and legal documentation tools.<br>• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.<br>• Familiarity with scheduling and coordinating court hearings, mediations, and depositions.<br>• Ability to draft and review legal documents with exceptional attention to detail.<br>• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and legal professionals.<br>• Knowledge of financial disclosures and discovery processes.<br>• Capable of working independently and maintaining a flexible schedule.
