Purchase & Sales Specialist
We are looking for a Purchase & Sales Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Sugar Land, Texas. In this role, you will oversee purchasing and sales operations, ensuring smooth workflows, excellent customer service, and effective communication across departments. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Review and approve purchase orders for designated sites to ensure accuracy and timely processing.<br>• Provide exceptional customer service by sourcing alternative products, monitoring back-orders, and coordinating product transfers between locations.<br>• Offer technical support for software systems used at assigned sites, ensuring seamless operations.<br>• Manage system workflows, including confirming purchase orders, processing pricing updates, assisting with receipt entries, and facilitating accounts payable matching.<br>• Communicate effectively with supervisors, division managers, and clinical teams to address escalated issues or concerns.<br>• Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.<br>• Maintain clear and precise communication with clients and colleagues through verbal and written methods.<br>• Adapt to changes and integrate new ideas into daily tasks to improve efficiency and outcomes.<br>• Uphold a high standard of professionalism when interacting with clients and team members.<br>• Monitor and resolve discrepancies in purchasing and sales processes to maintain accuracy.
• Proven experience in purchasing functions, including managing purchase orders and related activities.<br>• Familiarity with merchant services and the ability to handle purchasing workflows efficiently.<br>• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and team members effectively.<br>• Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve organizational goals.<br>• Proficiency in software systems relevant to purchasing and sales operations.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.<br>• Ability to adapt to changes and incorporate new processes into daily responsibilities.<br>• Experience in the healthcare industry or similar fast-paced environments is preferred.
