<p> Follow Shad on LinkedIn at #chalkboardtalk for videos on his open roles in the Houston Marketplace.  Shad and his Team at Robert Half are working with a publicly held  Woodlands Energy Client looking to add an Internal Auditor. This role Supports Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance by assisting with internal control testing, process documentation, and executing audits and special projects across global operations while delivering assurance and advisory services. Evaluates business processes and risks through data analysis, research, and stakeholder interviews to identify control gaps and recommend practical improvements to financial reporting and operations. Documents audit work and findings, coordinates with external auditors and third-party providers, and proactively drives process improvements and problem resolution as a self-starter. Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree, a certification a plus, 2 plus year’s work experience with public accounting a huge plus.   Candidate must have the ability to travel about 20% domestically or internationally. Company&#39;s compensation make up is base salary, bonus potential and benefits. Company supports a hybrid work model.
