Payroll Administrator
<p>Sara Walker with Robert Half is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to oversee all aspects of payroll operations. Based in Seaside, Oregon, this role requires expertise in full-cycle payroll processing, compliance with tax regulations, and effective collaboration with internal teams and external agencies. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining employee records and supporting reporting requirements.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.</p><p>• Manage payroll systems and maintain employee timekeeping records to ensure data integrity.</p><p>• Coordinate benefits, deductions, garnishments, and other payroll-related adjustments.</p><p>• Generate and distribute payroll checks while handling employer and employee benefit payments.</p><p>• Prepare quarterly and year-end reports, including W-2s and tax filings.</p><p>• Respond to payroll-related inquiries, such as employment and salary verifications.</p><p>• Provide payroll data for administrative and departmental reporting needs.</p><p>• Ensure timely payment of payroll liabilities, including local payroll taxes.</p><p>• Attend payroll-related meetings and training sessions to stay updated on industry standards.</p><p>• Perform additional payroll-related recordkeeping and data management tasks as needed.</p><p><br></p><p>Please reach out to Sara Walker with Robert Half to review this position. • High school diploma or equivalent is required.<br>• Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle payroll processing.<br>• Proficiency in managing payroll for 101-500 employees.<br>• Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance.<br>• Ability to navigate computer systems and quickly learn new software applications.<br>• All applicants must complete a mandatory screening process.<br>• Experience in education-related environments is preferred.<br>• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
