<p>We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team in Sanford, Florida. This is a Contract-to-permanent opportunity ideal for an experienced and detail-oriented individual with a solid background in accounting and familiarity with NetSuite software. The role involves managing financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting various accounting operations within a dynamic environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Prepare and process journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.</p><p>• Manage general ledger accounts and ensure proper coding of transactions.</p><p>• Handle reconciliations for accounts to maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies.</p><p>• Oversee corporate tax filings, including sales tax and corporate tax returns.</p><p>• Utilize NetSuite software for accounting tasks and reporting.</p><p>• Collaborate with the team to maintain compliance with financial regulations.</p><p>• Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.</p><p>• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.</p><p>• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations.</p>

• Proven experience as a Staff Accountant in a setting requiring attention to detail.<br>• Strong knowledge of corporate tax, sales tax, and related regulations.<br>• Proficiency in NetSuite software and accounting practices.<br>• Ability to prepare journal entries and manage general ledger accounts.<br>• Experience with account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.<br>• Familiarity with corporate tax return processes and compliance.<br>• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.<br>• Strong organizational and communication skills.
