Robert Half Management Resources is looking for an experienced Workday Financials Project Manager to lead a critical implementation for one of our clients on an interim basis. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to shape key financial systems and processes, utilizing your expertise in Workday ERP solutions. Located in San Ramon, California, this role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver impactful results. Responsibilities:• Oversee the design, configuration, and testing of Workday Financials modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Management.• Partner with stakeholders to analyze business needs and translate them into optimized Workday financial processes.• Manage all phases of the implementation lifecycle, from planning and data conversion to testing and post-production support.• Provide strategic guidance and recommend best practices to ensure successful deployment and avoid common challenges.• Collaborate with integration and reporting teams to align functional designs with technical requirements.• Lead functional workstreams to ensure timely and accurate execution of project goals.• Develop and implement solutions that enhance financial operations and ensure compliance with organizational standards.• Facilitate cross-departmental communication to ensure seamless integration of Workday Financials with existing systems.• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.• Deliver training and support to end-users, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems.

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience configuring Workday Financials. • Proven track record in leading at least two full-lifecycle Workday Financials implementations for enterprise-level organizations. • Strong understanding of the Financial Data Model and expertise in at least three core functional areas such as Banking, Expenses, Procurement, or Projects. • Current or former Workday Financials Certification is highly preferred. • Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams to ensure alignment between functional and technical aspects. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex project environments. • Familiarity with healthcare industry financial processes, including Patient Accounting integrations or Grants Management, is a plus. • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and audit requirements related to financial systems is advantageous.
