Payroll Specialist
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team in Sacramento, California. In this contract position, you will handle various payroll functions with a focus on accuracy and compliance. This role requires expertise in full-cycle payroll processes and managing multi-state payroll for a large workforce.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Process full-cycle payroll accurately and on schedule.</p><p>• Manage multi-state payroll for over 500 employees, ensuring compliance with regulations.</p><p>• Utilize Paylocity to execute payroll operations efficiently.</p><p>• Handle accounts payable tasks, including coding and processing approved invoices.</p><p>• Coordinate biweekly payroll processing using Paylocity.</p><p>• Maintain detailed records and ensure payroll data integrity.</p><p>• Address and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.</p><p>• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline payroll and accounts payable workflows.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with all applicable payroll laws and company policies.</p><p>• Provide support during audits and assist in generating payroll reports.</p>
• At least 1 year of experience in payroll processing.<br>• Proficiency in full-cycle payroll and multi-state payroll management.<br>• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now and Paylocity.<br>• Familiarity with managing payroll for large organizations (500+ employees).<br>• Knowledge of accounts payable processes, including coding and approving invoices.<br>• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.<br>• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
