<p>A boutique plaintiff-side law firm is seeking a Part-Time attorney to assist on an ongoing contract basi<strong>s</strong> to support its growing practice focused on <strong>land use and real estate matters</strong>. This role will primarily assist with legal research, drafting, and case strategy support.</p><p><br></p><p>The ideal candidate will have experience handling land use, real estate, environmental, or related litigation matters. However, the firm is also open to attorneys with a strong litigation background in other practice areas who can quickly adapt to new subject matter and produce high-quality written work.</p><p><br></p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking flexible hours while building a long-term relationship with a sophisticated litigation practice.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct legal research on land use, real estate, and related litigation issues</li><li>Draft memoranda, motions, pleadings, discovery responses, and other legal documents</li><li>Analyze statutes, regulations, case law, and administrative decisions</li><li>Assist with case strategy, factual investigation, and issue spotting</li><li>Review and summarize documents, records, and evidentiary materials</li><li>Collaborate with partners and litigation teams on active matters</li><li>Support other substantive litigation and legal writing projects as needed</li></ul>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>J.D. from an accredited law school and active California Bar membership</li><li>Experience in land use, real estate, environmental, or related practice areas preferred</li><li>Attorneys with strong litigation experience in other areas are encouraged to apply</li><li>Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage assignments with minimal supervision</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work product</li><li>Experience drafting motions, briefs, pleadings, and legal memoranda</li></ul><p><strong>What to Expect</strong></p><ul><li>Flexible, part-time schedule</li><li>Hours will fluctuate initially based on case needs and workflow</li><li>Opportunity for workload to increase and become more consistent as the firm evaluates work product and long-term fit</li><li>Meaningful substantive work supporting complex plaintiff-side matters</li></ul><p>This position is being offered on an ongoing contract basis and is ideal for attorneys seeking flexibility while remaining engaged in sophisticated litigation and legal research work.</p>
