The Senior Accountant will be responsible for project accounting, job cost analysis, financial reporting, funding requests, account reconciliations, and compliance-related activities for multiple development and construction projects. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data, timely reporting, and adherence to financing and regulatory requirements.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Manage construction and development-related accounting activities for multiple projects.</li><li>Prepare funding requests and maintain oversight of project budgets, cash flow, and funding sources.</li><li>Monitor project costs, commitments, and financial performance against approved budgets.</li><li>Perform account reconciliations and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.</li><li>Prepare financial reports, job cost analyses, work-in-progress schedules, and variance reporting.</li><li>Coordinate documentation required for lenders, investors, auditors, and other stakeholders.</li><li>Support compliance reporting, audits, and financial reviews.</li><li>Assist with real estate transactions, project financing activities, and project transitions to operational accounting.</li><li>Partner with development, construction, operations, and asset management teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.</li><li>Maintain accurate and organized financial records in a multi-entity environment.</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</li><li>CPA, CPA candidate, or advanced accounting credentials preferred not required</li><li>Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.</li><li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p>
