We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. This role is integral to ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting the organization’s accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Responsibilities: • Manage general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. • Perform account reconciliations to maintain integrity in financial reporting. • Provide support to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams as needed. • Contribute to the monthly and quarterly financial close processes. • Assist in preparing documentation and schedules for audits. • Enhance and maintain accounting workflows to improve efficiency. • Support manufacturing-related accounting tasks, leveraging experience in the industry when applicable. • Ensure compliance with GAAP standards in all financial activities. • Prepare and analyze journal entries to support accurate financial reporting. • Oversee sales tax and corporate tax return processes, ensuring timely submissions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. • Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience with attention to detail. • Strong proficiency in financial systems, including debits/credits, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, and reporting tools. • Experience with Syteline software is a plus, though training will be provided. • Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is highly preferred. • Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles. • Self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
