Receptionist
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Richmond, Virginia. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth communication and efficient administrative operations within our non-profit organization. This position requires strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Greet and assist visitors while maintaining a welcoming and detail-oriented atmosphere.<br>• Answer inbound calls using a multi-line phone system and direct them to the appropriate department.<br>• Handle data entry tasks efficiently, including numeric and alphanumeric entries.<br>• Organize and maintain filing systems to ensure easy access to documents.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create, update, and manage spreadsheets.<br>• Perform general administrative duties to support the team’s daily operations.<br>• Process and input data accurately into computer systems.<br>• Monitor incoming correspondence and route it to the correct team members.<br>• Ensure the reception area remains clean and organized at all times.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role.<br>• Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and answering inbound calls.<br>• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and computer data entry.<br>• Ability to perform accurate numeric and general data entry tasks.<br>• Experience in maintaining organized filing systems.<br>• Excellent communication skills with a detail-oriented approach.<br>• High level of attention to detail and organizational abilities.<br>• Familiarity with working in a non-profit environment is a plus.
