The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting principles, tax processes, and financial analysis to ensure smooth and accurate financial reporting.2-3 month contract-to-hire position100% Onsite in Plano, TexasDeltek Costpoint experience is highly preferred Contract-to-hire Senior Accountant:Responsibilities:• Prepare and record journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.• Perform account reconciliations and assist in month-end close procedures.• Generate timely and precise financial statements, adhering to organizational guidelines.• Process, review, and oversee invoices, expense reports, and payment transactions.• Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts to maintain financial integrity.• Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits.• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and trends, offering actionable insights.• Maintain and update accounting records, reports, and files with a focus on accuracy and compliance.• Collaborate with team members to enhance accounting processes and strengthen internal controls.

• Strong knowledge of journal entries and general ledger management.• Experience in preparing financial statements and conducting account reconciliations.• Experience with bank account reconciliations and balance sheet account reviews.• Ability to support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.• Skilled in identifying financial discrepancies and analyzing trends.• Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to process improvement.Deltek Costpoint experience is highly preferred
