Project Assistant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Assistant to provide support during a large-scale event in Pacific Grove, California. This is a Contract position requiring onsite presence to ensure smooth operations and efficient participant management. The role involves assisting with registration processes, distributing event materials, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for attendees.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Coordinate the registration process by verifying participant details and distributing badge covers and lanyards.<br>• Assist attendees by guiding them through the check-in process and addressing any immediate concerns.<br>• Ensure all pre-registered participants receive their materials in an organized and timely manner.<br>• Provide clear instructions regarding event resources, such as accessing the program book online.<br>• Maintain an attentive and approachable demeanor while engaging with event participants.<br>• Collaborate with the event team to resolve any logistical issues.<br>• Monitor attendee flow and ensure registration stations are adequately staffed.<br>• Uphold the event's dress code by presenting a neat and well-groomed appearance.<br>• Support the overall organization and execution of the event.<br>• Adapt to any last-minute changes or requirements to ensure a seamless experience for all involved.
• Previous experience in event registration or participant management is preferred.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.<br>• Comfortable working onsite and engaging with large groups of people.<br>• Basic understanding of event logistics and coordination.<br>• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities during the event.<br>• Appearance that aligns with the specified dress code.
