HR Generalist
<p>We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Oakland, California. This is a long-term contract position designed for someone who is detail oriented, passionate about fostering strong employee relationships, and skilled in managing diverse human resources functions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment while demonstrating initiative and a commitment to excellence in recruiting and HR administration.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Lead recruitment efforts for a variety of roles, including administrative positions, program managers, counselors, and site directors.</p><p>• Manage a requisition load of 7-10+ open positions simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective hiring.</p><p>• Oversee leave management processes and handle worker’s compensation cases in compliance with regulations.</p><p>• Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, fostering a positive and detail oriented workplace culture.</p><p>• Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee records and streamline HR operations.</p><p>• Conduct onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with organizational policies.</p><p>• Collaborate with teams to develop mentorship and detail oriented development programs.</p><p>• Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, promoting transparency and teamwork.</p><p>• Build and maintain a network of candidates with relevant experience to support ongoing recruitment needs.</p><p>• Actively contribute to improving HR processes and initiatives, demonstrating reliability and a passion for people</p>
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, including recruiting, leave management, and worker’s compensation.<br>• Fluency in Spanish is required to support diverse teams and candidates.<br>• Proven ability to manage multiple recruitment roles with varying levels of responsibility.<br>• Strong interpersonal skills with an attentive and approachable demeanor.<br>• Demonstrated initiative and reliability in completing HR tasks and responsibilities.<br>• Familiarity with HRIS systems and other HR tools to support administrative workflows.<br>• A track record of building effective relationships and networks within the HR field.<br>• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.
