Front Desk Coordinator
We are looking for a detail-oriented Front Desk Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Norfolk, Virginia. This position is ideal for someone with strong communication and organizational skills who enjoys working in a dynamic service industry environment. The role requires handling multi-line phone systems, managing administrative tasks, and providing exceptional support to clients and colleagues.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Greet visitors and clients warmly while maintaining an attentive and welcoming environment.<br>• Manage incoming calls using a multi-line phone system, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.<br>• Handle and resolve customer inquiries or concerns with efficiency and courtesy.<br>• Maintain accurate records and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.<br>• Coordinate and organize front desk operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day management.<br>• Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.<br>• Monitor and manage office supplies to ensure availability.<br>• Assist in scheduling appointments and meetings effectively.<br>• Ensure proper documentation and filing of essential paperwork.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a receptionist or front desk role.<br>• Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and switchboards handling 1-10 lines.<br>• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve customer concerns effectively.<br>• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience working with spreadsheets.<br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<br>• Ability to multitask and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment.<br>• High level of attention to detail and organizational abilities.
