A/V Service Technician
<p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p>Our client is looking for an AV Support Engineer who is hands-on and customer-focused, with a strong background in commercial AV support and field service. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working directly with clients, and supporting a wide variety of AV environments throughout the Atlanta area.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You&#39;ll Be Doing:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide onsite and remote support for commercial AV systems across client locations.</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and break/fix support on installed AV equipment.</li><li>Diagnose and resolve issues involving control systems, DSPs, conferencing solutions, and integrated AV technologies.</li><li>Deliver excellent customer service while interacting directly with end users and client stakeholders.</li><li>Participate in weekly safety meetings and follow company safety procedures while working in the field.</li><li>Support service contracts and recurring maintenance agreements for existing customers.</li><li>Document service activities, findings, and recommendations.</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p><strong>Required Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>3–5+ years of commercial AV support, service, installation, or field engineering experience.</li><li>Experience supporting technologies such as:</li><li>Crestron</li><li>Extron</li><li>Biamp</li><li>Q-SYS</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing communication skills.</li><li>Any AV-related certifications are a plus (CTS, Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Biamp, etc.).</li><li>Valid driver&#39;s license and clean driving record required.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Details:</strong></p><ul><li>Report daily to the Norcross office before traveling to client sites in company vehicles.</li><li>Primarily supporting clients throughout the Atlanta metro area, with occasional regional travel.</li><li>Contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term growth potential.</li><li>Current senior team member is expected to retire/leave in the next six weeks, creating an opportunity for someone to step into a key support role and grow within the organization.</li></ul><p><strong>*Please note: </strong>This role is naturally 100% onsite, Monday-Friday. Please do NOT apply to this posting if you&#39;re not already local to Metro ATL and willing to work onsite with travel across Atlanta. </p>
