Accounts Receivable Coordinator
We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join a dynamic team within the hospitality industry. This contract position is based in New York, New York, and offers the opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a luxury hotel. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounts receivable processes, excellent communication skills, and a detail-oriented approach to managing financial tasks.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee accounts receivable processes, including timely billing and collections.<br>• Apply cash payments accurately and ensure proper allocation to accounts.<br>• Communicate with customers to resolve inquiries and address payment-related concerns.<br>• Perform account reconciliations to maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies.<br>• Assist with light journal entries and ensure proper documentation.<br>• Manage email correspondence related to billing and payment matters.<br>• Handle commercial collections with professionalism and efficiency.<br>• Support ad-hoc financial projects as assigned by the supervisor.<br>• Ensure compliance with established accounting standards and procedures.<br>• Utilize NetSuite and Concur systems effectively to streamline processes.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.<br>• Proficiency in commercial collections and cash application processes.<br>• Strong knowledge of billing functions and account reconciliation.<br>• Experience with journal entries and general accounting principles.<br>• Familiarity with NetSuite and Concur systems is preferred.<br>• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.<br>• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.<br>• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
